Proximity sensors/switches consist of a reed switch and a permanent magnet which are sealed in a plastic housing for protection and ease of mounting.

 

Three types are available: Form A (Normally Open), Form B (Normally closed) and Form C (Changeover). 

 

Due to its compact and seal design, without moving parts and without standby power consumption, stable performance and more than 1 million life expectation, the proximity sensors / switches are widely used in various household appliances, security systems, safety interlock, position location and equipment automation etc.
